Race for the Wild is more than a run…
it’s a celebration of wildlife, community and adventure!
On Sunday 27 June 2027, runners of all abilities will take on a spectacular 13 km journey across Jersey, racing through the island’s beautiful green lanes while helping protect endangered wildlife. Starting at Victoria Park in St Helier and finishing at Jersey Zoo, this professionally managed, UK Athletics licensed event supports the vital conservation work of Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust, making every kilometre count for nature.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best, jogging with friends, or turning up in full animal fancy dress, Race for the Wild promises an unforgettable atmosphere from start to finish. Lions, lemurs, zebras and gorillas are all welcome – the wilder, the better!
Do it for Durrell

Every step you take helps protect endangered species around the world.
Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is an international charity on a mission to save species from extinction and create a wilder, healthier, more colourful world. Race For The Wild helps support the charity’s vital work – recovering wildlife, reviving ecosystems, and reconnecting people with nature.
£5 from every entry, plus all additional fundraising, goes directly to Durrell’s global conservation work – supporting some of the rarest wildlife on Earth.
