Volunteers
Want to be part of Race for the Wild but prefer not to run?
Join the event crew and help make race day a success!
It takes a dedicated team of volunteers to deliver the Race for the Wild 13K, and by getting involved, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and safely. You’ll also get to be right in the heart of the action, supporting runners as they take on the challenge for a great cause.
Positions that need filling on the day:
Course Marshals: Located at key junctions around the course, helping guide runners along the route.
Water Station Team: Positioned at designated points on the course, keeping runners hydrated.
Manual Time Keepers: Based at the finish line, manual time keepers help capture finish times as a reliable backup to chip timing.
Volunteers will receive:
• Transportation from Jersey Zoo to course location
• Free entry into Jersey Zoo on Sunday 12 July 2026
• A hot drink voucher to be used at Jersey Zoo
No previous volunteering experience is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Volunteers are needed for approximately two to four hours on Sunday 12 July 2026, and you’ll be fully briefed on your role on the day.
